She maybe evil but there is a difference between choosing to be evil and letting yourself become evil. A key difference is giving up on yourself (also having nothing better to do in life which is sad) and she reeks of someone who is compensating for (many) something(s). Maybe one day she will realize that being evil and witchery takes more than it gives and gives you (pointless, mostly stolen) power but removes all meaning in it and makes it hollow (also, clearly, it does not guarantee success or happines and doesn't do much for you in the end, really) and make her trainer and Ignatius proud. If she ever works up the courage to look herself in the mirror.
