Leon is the son of the Hartsfield Family, who has a hold on the harbor industry of Luxford as well as close ties to the prosperity of the Academia Dracones. Leon, estranged with his royal family, moved on to work in journalism. His presence quickly lost its novelty among his peers, as he turned out to be a bit of a downer, self-deprecating, and almost never talked about his family.

Story

Interview at the Cafe

Leon and Holly gather a group of volunteers from their organization to help out a business owner whose cafe was raided by Risers. The cafe was also the site of a violent brawl where a vigilante fought back against said Risers. The building was damaged and the owner was soon visited by members of ANIMA, questioned about who was involved in the fighting. Leon keeps this information in mind, apparently having been watching another vigilante in Luxford.

Scoop of a Lifetime

Leon received a hint that a Psychic Dracha dwelled in one of the Prima Islands. Investigating from afar, Leon caught sight of a Dracha standing on the edge of the island, though he disappeared into thin air. With Veronica’s help, Leon travelled to the island, but only after attempting to take in the patterns of the cult’s patrols. He infiltrated the island early in the morning.

Shortly after landing on the island, Leon was quickly subdued by the cult anyway, and was brought to their Dracha leader, a Psychic Dracha named Cobalt. He was promptly fed to Cobalt, then the Dracha dismissed his followers to have alone time with the fox. Cobalt proceeded to ask Leon questions about the mainland of Krez until Leon’s camera was regurgitated. With instruction from Leon, Cobalt sifted through the photos within the camera, enamored by a picture of Leon’s sister, Rina.

Cobalt’s stomach acids rising fast, Leon warned him that his digesting would prevent the Dracha from learning more. Cobalt hinted at seeing him again in the future, which made Leon think he was about to release him, but then they were interrupted by Veronica, who had evaded the clutches of the cult.

After a brief battle, Veronica pulled Leon out of Cobalt’s stomach forcibly with one of her detached limbs, flying out of the temple with a naked Leon in tow. He was taken back home the same way, with many people having seen him in one of the most embarrassing events of his life.

Personality

Leon Hartsfield is a lax fox, but this hides the passionate fire within. He likes to take it easy and spend time on the internet for most of his days. When interacting with other people, they usually see him as a very quiet person who doesn’t talk much about himself despite all the dangerous situations he gets himself into. Whether it’s to bring excitement and motivation to his life or if it’s all for the money, Leon is at least respectable and reliable in that aspect.

Forte/Skills

He does not consider himself a fox of many skills, but Leon does have a good attention to detail and can take great photographs. His bravery is also something to behold, as most in the press would not dare venture into the affairs of Dracha. Although he tends to distance himself from his royal roots, Leon is not averse to using his status to gain the upper hand against others. Lastly, Leon is very stubborn and can get very focused when he comes head to head with a difficult task. He can certainly put his mind to something when he cares enough.
