===The Betrayed Noivern===
===Becoming a Vigilante===
Raphael comes from a noble family, sent on a royal quest to take down a certain witch who has been harvesting other Noivern from the settlement. Raphael flew far, tracking down the witch as she retreated deeper into the wilderness. Confronting her finally, he did not expect her arsenal of ice-based attacks, and he was nearly killed. He took a while to recover before flying back to the safety of his kingdom, but he had been replaced. Even when he made himself known, he was rejected, already thought to have failed and been killed.

Fuming with rage, the Noivern flew away as an outcast, knowing better than to try to attack his family and the kingdom as a whole.

===Meeting Iggy===
Emery sees Beatrix arrive with a very full belly, and asks if the coyote still has her "pill," to which she answers that she misplaced it. They all disband and spread out, aiming to meet back at their site of operations at an abandoned motel.
The Noivern stumbled upon the Sanctuary one day, his heart broken and his body still greatly injured. Iggy took in the Noivern, mending his wounds and trying to console him. Once the Noivern was in full health once again, Iggy offered a place for him within Sanctuary, but Iggy would soon know of Raphael's greatest vice: his yearning for vengeance. Raphael asked Iggy to train him to become stronger so that he can take down his entire kingdom. The Delphox rejected, knowing the consequences of passionate revenge.

Raphael was not pleased with this response, and challenged Iggy to a battle. The Noivern was easily taken down by the aged Delphox. Humbled, the Noivern pleaded for forgiveness, and Iggy obliged. Raphael now serves the Sanctuary, Iggy still helping the royal Noivern work on his vices and his rage.

Coming from a wealthy family, Raphael has grown a rather pious and pompous attitude, looking down on those who don't live the same way that he does. He especially looks down on those who wallow in filth and do not care for their bodies. Otherwise, the Noivern tries to maintain his own eloquence and posture, serving as an example for less civilized members of the Sanctuary. He loves to bathe and care for his skin to further stand out lavishly to others.

Despite being humbled by Iggy, Raphael still has a very short fuse, and is easily annoyed and angered by others. His strong yearning for revenge still burns, but he tries his hardest to quell the bitter flames within.

Raphael is an able flyer, using his moves from mid-air to gain an advantage over his opponent. His air-based attacks are very powerful, especially his signature move Boomburst, which deals great damage in a wide angle. He can also screech to daze his enemies and then proceed to attack them with his strong talons.

Emery is a natural talent in the realm of everything technological. Having been given a screen as a child, the owl has had a very early brush with technology, constantly building her knowledge of peripherals and the underlying code of everything she sees. She is a part of the Lollipop Gang led by Beatrix, serving as their very reliable tech support, able to hack into almost anything with her own devices. As to that, she serves as a vigilante as well, pushing back at the Risers' plans.

Story

Becoming a Vigilante

Emery's transition to vigilantism started with toxic behavior she experienced online. One particular engagement between a friend of hers and another online group resulted in her friend hurting herself. Emery found a correlation between online toxicity and the dark influence of Risers in Krez. Finding that they had operations all over the net, Emery worked under a strong veil of anonymity, keeping her location and identity secure while hampering their schemes by taking down websites and blocking access to various tunnels.

Brawl at the Cafe

Emery is with Beatrix and the others, relaxing at a local cafe in the Dresden region. It is suddenly raided by a group of Risers, one of them being Ashe in disguise. Emery quickly exits the cafe with Opal, but Beatrix is left behind, the coyote refusing to leave under the Risers' orders. A fight ensues, and Emery helps from outside, using her tablet and a drone to survey the outside area and lock in to another group of Risers coming in from a nearby alleyway. She and Opal stay by Beatrix's motorcycle when it's safe.

Emery sees Beatrix arrive with a very full belly, and asks if the coyote still has her "pill," to which she answers that she misplaced it. They all disband and spread out, aiming to meet back at their site of operations at an abandoned motel.

Personality

The owl girl tends to avoid large gatherings, wanting to spend most of her days programming, studying technology, or playing video games. She knows a number of coding languages, seeing it as a hurdle to any hacking challenges she encounters. She is quite studious and also timid, though more so in person. When it comes to the online, virtual space, she feels a lot more willing to engage in discussion with others. A secret, passionate side of her comes out relating to video games. She takes them seriously, becoming very competitive when engaging in a match with others.

Forte/Skills

Emery knows a number of programming languages and carries a high affinity towards technology. When she sees any sort of software, she immediately starts thinking about how it works internally. Emery can tap into other devices using her own by hacking into them with impressive efficiency. This allows her crew to often get by technological hurdles without leaving any sort of a trace. Emery can also use many advanced peripherals, owning a number of tablets and computers, and even her own server! She also has a drone that she uses often to scan areas and give her team an upper hand in different situations.
