The Ruler of the Skies, Lady Aurora, watches intently over the world’s regions and the firmament above. Her firstborn, blessed by Arceus, is Caspian the Lugia, who was assigned as ruler of the sea. Embittered by her son never returning to see her, Lady Aurora conceived three more children, but their squabbling has caused natural disasters across the world, which left their mother even more resentful.

Story

Present Day

Lady Aurora still communicates with her daughters when she needs things done, but she cannot contact her son no matter what she does. She sits on top of the Bell Tower alone, watching over the golden skies and gathering information on the state of the world using the clouds.

Personality

The Ho-Oh conceived children who have done nothing but disappoint her. She still loves her son deeply and is even obsessed with him, but his refusal to visit or even contact her has exasperated her. She simmers with a deep anger every waking day, and is always wrestling with thoughts of devouring her daughters for their constant arguing and fighting, resulting in tumultuous and disastrous weather across the world.

While there are humans that worship and continue to provide offerings to her, she cannot bring herself to enjoy their company either, only thinking about her children and mostly wanting to be left alone.

Forte/Skills

Lady Aurora’s most notable and feared skill is the usage of her Sacred Fire, a furious and powerful flame that can sear the very soul of her victims. What exactly this entails, no one truly knows. She often uses this as a finishing move. The Ho-Oh, when she wants to engage in straightforward combat, is very graceful in her movements and can harden her wing feathers, simultaneously heating them to become red-hot blades to rend her opponents in two.

When she is in the firmament, she can manipulate the clouds to bend and swirl however she wishes. She is able to walk on the clouds themselves and uses them to shroud her figure in battle to give her an upper hand.

Some have claimed that Lady Aurora has the ability to resurrect the dead, and that she requires the help of the Lifegiver Xerneas to accomplish this. Or perhaps she doesn’t…?

Bernard revealed to her that he wanted to get away from his brother, and she was able to find out that he detested him greatly.

Failing to get a response from the crystal, Ingrid angrily beat on the rock, eventually cutting herself. Her blood awoke the crystal and caused it to explode in a cloud of dark energy. Something sinister reached out of the portal that was left behind and took in the two pups.

The little Rockruff howled into the night sky, running away from where he called home.

He transformed into a midnight Lycanroc under the following moon, attacking the village without remorse and eating a couple of the villagers. Waking up the next morning with a distended stomach, the midday was distraught to see the remains of the village. He got flashes of what happened last night and concluded he was the cause. Filled with sorrow and anger, the Lycanroc ran away, not knowing what to do.

Malgam was looking for recruits for his army, and understandably Bernard wanted nothing to do with it, however, he was tempted by Malgam’s offering of shelter, which Bernard thought could shield him from the moon so he cannot transform.
