Constance, or Connie, is considered the right paw of Leopold. She is a dog with an amazing skill in tracking and acts as an ambassador of sorts for the Hunter-Killers, enthusiastically embracing the leading lion's ideals. When she is not doing Leopold's bidding, she loyally tails him wherever he goes. Though she could never amount to what Grendel is capable of as far as devouring others, she still has a notable capacity, and seeks to be useful to Leopold in other ways.
