Pepper confides in the company of Team Pyre, who had originally hired her for a job. The purrloin enjoyed her time with them, and offered to provide them more services. She is considered a witch by many, but Pepper detests being called such, fancying herself as more of a plain hexer. She often uses her hexes to prank others or, in worse cases, exact her own brand of justice with longer-lasting curses.

Story

Current Day

Many members of Team Pyre wonder about Pepper's past, but the cat does not indulge anyone on her backstory, not even the highest ranking members. She appears rather reserved on the subject, but some make the connection of it having to do with witches, judging by her contempt for them. Either way, Pepper continues to offer her hexing services to Vulcan and his crew, sometimes for free.

Personality

Pepper has varying moods. Oftentimes, she is mischievous, always indulging in her devilish schemes. Other times, she is quiet, delighting in the company of others in the team. When she is quiet, others tend to get nervous, as it almost always means she is simmering about something, which in turn would lead to someone getting hexed in the near future. Cassandra personally hates the cat and her usage of dark magic to get an advantage over others.

When it comes to food, the cat always perks up. She gets even more excited when her next meal is a food type Pokemon. She shares this love of food with Shard, who Pepper was friends with when Shard was a Sneasel.

Pepper tends to get angry when others call her a witch. She describes witches as otherworldly creatures who revel in the manipulation of souls. Pepper believes tampering with the essence of a soul is heinous and claims she would never do such a thing herself.

Forte/Skills

The purrloin's skills range from all manners of dark magic, but most have to do with curses, which linger with her victims. The difference between hexes and curses, as she describes it, is that hexes are short-term and mostly used for pranks. Curses are reserved for those she feels deserve them. Pepper doesn't delve into the subject of what these curses entail, which amplifies others' fear of her. Some members of the Pyre reported some members coming down with a horrible illness that would eventually kill them. Other apparent victims would be met with terrible luck, sometimes leading to fatal outcomes. No one can prove if Pepper is the cause behind these happenings.

Pepper's more notable skill is being able to infuse her dark essence with multiple types. With the use of her amulet tied around her Witchtree branch, she can convert one type and combine it with the darkness. An example of this would be her Darkflames or Darkwind (flying).
