Known as a true scourge of the seas, Sabre "the Throat" Finch has earned his notoriety through the countless pillaging and destruction of rival vessels sailing the waters around Aestrunia. The eel pirate and his crew of anthropomorphic sea creatures roam both above and below the water's surface, looking for any opportunity to plunder and scavenge. They sail a mighty galleon customized to make use of their new abilities as marine species. Their current state as sea creatures is from a curse that was afflicted upon them, a curse that most of the crew and Sabre himself accept heartily.

Story

Present Day

Sabre continues to sail the seas with his lover Delpha "the Tooth" Blake, their worst enemies consisting of the Bluerose fleet as well as the sea monster that afflicted them with their curse. They rarely battle with these two opposing forces, but each one has ended in a stalemate, showing the pirates' experience and skill in naval combat.

Personality

The eel pirate is an enthusiastic leader. When he and his crew are not plundering and taking out rival pirates, they often celebrate with big feasts, and some of these feasts may consist of prisoners they keep in their bilge. He values the importance of leisure and keeping the morale of his crew up. He and most of his followers have accepted their curse as sea creatures, and it is this acceptance that has caused this curse to permanently become a part of them. Some might not have the same mindset and can still return to their original Anthro selves, though anyone that tries to go against Sabre is swiftly outed and eaten.

Sabre loves his leisure time and being lazy, but when it comes to battle, he bursts with a chaotic energy that scares some of his own crew members. He is masterful with his scimitar and often ends a battle swallowing multiple survivors at once, hence his nickname being "the Throat."

Forte/Skills

The eel's incredible stretchy jaw and gullet allow him to swallow those bigger than him with ease. His flesh is slick and slippery, and his acids strong. His gluttony is certainly one of his greatest strengths against his foes, and he oftentimes calls his caustic stomach his own personal bilge.

Aside from devouring wantonly, Sabre's proficiency with his scimitar needs no introduction! His skill in swashbuckling engagements is shockingly high with his stocky body type. He can perform all tasks required of his ship, and his knowledge in this makes him a versatile and dependable captain respected by all.

To go along with this, his transformation into an eel has also given him great mobility in the water, along with the rest of his crew. If any of their ships were to be damaged considerably, they can also attack from under the sea's surface. Sabre can breathe both above and below water, which gives him many more options when engaging with his foes.
