A mysterious, ghostly being held captive by Team Pyre, the crestfallen Seraphina is constantly clouded by an air of sorrow. Obsessed with an unremitting search for her missing daughter, Seraphina rejected her afterlife to find her. Now put under a hex by the sinister Pepper, she is tethered to Team Pyre, who use her for their own goals, which Seraphina carries out in hopes of them leaving her alone.
Story
Her Death
Seraphina, still a Johto Typhlosion during this time, had an argument with her daughter hot enough to separate the two. Not long after Plume fled into the wilderness, Seraphina made it her mission to get her back safely. Her plans were cut short, however, by the raiding of the Fire Dojo nearby, carried out by the pernicious Team Pyre. Seraphina would offer meditative aid and soothsaying to the Fire Dojo's keeper in the past. The Typhlosion attempted to help, but Team Pyre was simply too strong, and she unfortunately perished in the struggle.
Coming back as a Hisuian Typhlosion through the sheer will in finding her runaway daughter, she was discovered by Pepper, who hexed the poor Typhlosion so that she would be tied to her. While Pepper eventually figured out Seraphina's story and even pitied her, Pepper presented her to Vulcan in hopes that Seraphina could assist them with her unique ghostly powers.
Present Day
Seraphina lives day to day in sadness, contemplating on the past and how she could have carried things out differently. While she begrudgingly does Team Pyre's bidding, she hopes to one day reunite with her daughter again.
Personality
The Hisuian Typhlosion lives in an almost constant state of sadness, filled with regrets in her past life, the largest of course being the separation of her young daughter Plume. Her sorrowful aura can be felt by anybody approaching, and most of Team Pyre fears her. Seeing Team Pyre as her enemy, she hardly talks to any of them with exception of Bridgett, who is ignorant of their deeds. The Cinderace is one of the few Pokemon she finds even the slightest comfort in. Her other comfort is devouring other ghosts and purifying them with her phantasmal acids, hoping to help them out of their own slumps.
Forte/Skills
Seraphina's transcendence into her new ghost form has equipped her with a ghastly spin on her attacks. With the signature move of her species, Infernal Parade, she unleashes a flurry of supernatural flames that sear one's very spirit. These special flames are extracted from the impurities of the ghosts she digests. Her flames in general are imbued with ghostly energy, which, while powerful, can lead to a disadvantageous situation if faced with a normal type.
Her flames are not always used for violence. Seraphina can conjure ephemeral embers that allow her to fall into a meditative state that strengthens her resolve. She can also use these to see the fortunes and past deeds of fallen ghosts that she interacts with.
Finally, Seraphina's new ghost form has caused her flesh to become slightly less corporeal, allowing her belly to stretch a lot more. Whenever she gets the opportunity, she binges on ghosts almost mindlessly, trying to stuff herself as much as she can.
