One of the more decorated knights of Bluerose, Sir Brant is a steadfast and loyal wolf with an unwaverable spirit. Like all knights, he has dedicated his life to defending the nobles of Bluerose and the citizens within the castle walls. He often ventures outside of Bluerose to take care of more dangerous matters, such as keeping the towns outside safe from criminals and monsters. He greatly detests evil-doers and tries to bring them to justice when he is able, even storing them in his gut to haul back to the castle.

Story

Affinity with Dragons

Sir Brant has finally set the notorious thief Meriel in his sights. Chasing her through the Blue Forest, he drifts to the side to quickly remove his armor before ambushing Meriel from above without a sound. He promptly swallows her whole and goes to retrieve his armor before heading back to the safety of Bluerose Castle; however, he is stopped by an Abomination, a creature that has undergone grotesque mutations following a large consumption of Leyline energy. The wolf knight fist fights the Abomination, only to be snagged by another Abomination from behind. Its tongue wrapped around his body, Sir Brant is dragged and falls off the hill. He removes his binds by biting the tongue of the creature and then subsequently fights off the two monsters on his own.

During the brawl, Sir Brant takes a few blows, and then, while grappling one of the monsters, it spews acid all over Brant's forearm. He decides to release Meriel and tells her to run away, not wanting her to fall victim to the Abominations. The wolf knight fights them the best he can until he sees his sword careening towards him. He catches it and dispatches the two creatures quickly and gorily. Meriel shows herself again, revealing that she threw the sword to him. The two are then ambushed by bandits of the Ash Gang, and it is unveiled that Meriel is the daughter of Raynaldus, the leader of the gang.

Meriel tackles Sir Brant, the two barely avoiding the huge tail of a dragon, sweeping over their heads and into the bandits, coiling around the two of them. Sir Brant watches in horror as Meriel communicates with the dragon, a feat that he never thought possible. The dragoness scoops up Sir Brant next, aiming to devour him, but instead he is kept in her mouth as she and Meriel start their journey back to the former's lair.

Present Day

Sir Brant is now being kept close to the dragoness and Meriel, the two not wanting to release him until he understands them better and does not spur the kingdom to hunt them down upon his return.

Personality

Sir Brant’s loyalty knows no bounds. He loves his homeland of Bluerose and is more than happy to offer his strength to keep it and the people from harm. He is respectful to all people and hates the thought of getting on anybody’s bad side, even if it is a fruitless venture. Despite him wanting to serve the royal Bluerose family, he would be lying if he said he did not love the recognition. Sir Brant has received many awards for multiple feats, whether they be the subject of knighthood, leadership, or food.

The wolf knight’s days are very busy, and when he is not in uniform or armor, he typically loves to relax in a tavern. Even when he is not on duty, he looks around for anybody getting out of hand. He has been getting close with a shopkeeper named Elaine, and loves to share his stories with her.

Forte/Skills

Bluerose Knights are expected to be in top shape at all times, and Sir Brant is no exception. He loves to train his body and become proficient with many weapons, though he is most fond of the greatsword. His stature and booming voice puts fear into bandits and sometimes even witches or monsters! He is already notorious for the amount of criminals that he has jailed.

Aside from using a greatsword, Sir Brant has trained himself extensively in the art of simple brawling. He is a powerhouse when it comes to grappling, and his skills in fist fights are almost unmatched. Outside of battling, he carries many different miscellaneous skills, mainly to show off or break records. He is the fastest at removing armor from his person or chugging ten jugs of mead for example.
