Vera the Reshiram is a proponent of balance in the world of Pokemon. Together with her brother, she represents the dualities that support harmony. She carries two forms - Yin and Yang - switching between them depending on the state of the world. Vera and her brother reciprocate these two forms, showing their stark depiction of balance and how two sides need one another.

Story

Present Day

Vera wanders the Realm of Legends alongside her brother, as most other Legendary Pokemon do. Either she or her brother will have exited the realm to attend to any entity throwing the world off balance; there is never a moment where both of them leave the Realm. It is possible for the two to be in the Realm at the same time, however, when the world's balance is sufficient.

Personality

Vera swaps between her Yin and Yang forms, and when her mission is done, she stays in her Yang form until her brother switches, as they both cannot have the same form.

Yin Form

When Vera is in her Yin form, the harmony of the world is in good balance. She is soft-spoken and kind, tender to those around her. She is modest and emotional, sharing a sympathetic bond with others. She walks the plains with curiosity, hoping for any sort of discovery.

Yang Form

When Vera is in her Yang form, the harmony of the world is off-balance. Shown the perpetrator who has tipped the scales, Vera's cool blue turns into a fiery orange, and her demeanor changes to one of passion, driven into violence. She sets her sights on her goal, delivering righteous anger to them and exterminating them so that balance may be restored.

Forte/Skills

Vera is equipped with a plethora of powerful fire and dragon type attacks, but none compares to her signature Blue Flare, a righteous flame that can burn down entire kingdoms and cities. On top of her unique attacks, her presence creates an aura that ignores others' natural, passive abilities. A Pokemon with the ability to absorb flames cannot hope to contain Vera's, for example. The ferocity and power of her attacks can be bolstered, as her massive tail serves as a sort of generator for her moves.

Outside of her abilities in battle, Vera can move around at incredibly high speeds thanks to her tail, rocketing through the air like a jet!
