Maia is a mythical pokemon known as the Mother of all Pokemon. Using her DNA, Arceus molded the many species of Pokemon that inhabit the Earth. Maia loved the creations that were birthed from her genetic code, and yearned to live alongside and interact with them. This would lead to a chain of events that would plummet the Mew into a conflict the scale of which she never imagined.

Story

Path to Exile

Maia observed the destruction that enveloped Earth thanks to the darkness of humanity. She was ordered by Xerneas not to interfere, but Maia, loving those on Earth, stole power from the Realm to aid humans and give them another chance to rebuild their civilizations. In doing this, Maia was cast out of the Realm, but her plan worked, and humans and Pokemon flourished once more.

For many years, Maia lived on Earth, unable to return home. Her timidness slowly crumbled away as she interacted more and more with creatures of Earth. Eventually, she was sought after by a peculiar group of humans.

Falling Prey to Humanity

These humans lured in the Mew, worshiping and treating her continuously. As she started to become used to them, they used the Mew for their research endeavors, eventually becoming pressured to take procedures a step further.

Unaware of what they have been doing to her, Maia continued to live among them. They brought in an Eevee who they named Malgam. The two got along quickly, the Mew even shyly proposing to the Eevee. Unfortunately, Malgam did not return these feelings, and Maia shut down in sadness.

The Birth and Deterioration

The humans artificially inseminated Maia with Malgam's seed since their project was put on a hold due to Malgam and Maia not getting along. Soon enough, Maia became ill and was put under intensive care by the humans. She was pregnant with the Mewtwo Twins Damos and Adrestia. Giving birth to them, they would officially be called the first children ever birthed directly from a Mythical in known history.

As a result of her intense labor, Maia grew even more ill, but was soon recovered to mostly good health by her human captors. They continued to use her psychic power to set the production of Link Balls into motion.

These Link Balls aimed to put any Pokemon caught in it under complete control of their owners, with no sense of moral constraint or individual will. Many Pokemon have already been caught, and Maia's link to the Balls caused them to be completely helpless and under the mercy of their owners, also developing as stronger Pokemon in general.

The humans would continue to sap Maia's energy, but something the humans did not know is that her power was in fact limited because of her exile from the Realm of Legends. Eventually, Malgam, Damos, and Adrestia would rescue her from the machine that drained her psychic energy, but Maia was already comatose and close to death. Damos and Adrestia escaped the facility with their weakened Mother, leaving Malgam behind.

Personality

The Mew is a kind and gentle soul who holds hatred for nobody. Even her explosion of rage in the facility may not have been entirely her fault. She carries a fascination and respect for life on Earth, seeing as how a lot of it was a product of her own body. Maia is very curious about many things, and despite having lived for an unspeakable amount of years, still seeks to learn about the world and its inhabitants.

There are times where Maia is very playful. She loves to play with others in a teasing way, using her psychic abilities to toy with them, but without causing harm.

Forte/Skills

Maia is the Mother of all Pokemon, and thus has an almost complete arsenal of moves at her disposal. In other words, she can use almost any move known by other Pokemon. Coupled with her incredibly powerful psychic abilities, Maia is more than capable of defending herself if she needs to.

Maia carries speed and grace in hovering. Going at top speed, one would need to not blink in order to see her zip by at a breakneck pace.

Lastly, Maia has a specific psychic power that allows her to link her mind to others. By using this ability, she can share thoughts and memories with other creatures.
