Malgam is an Eevee who was taken in by a group of researchers to become Maia's mate because of his compatibility with her. His keepers sought to conceive and then control an incredibly powerful Pokemon born from a Mythical. Malgam himself became the subject of another experiment: thanks to his malleable DNA, he would be able to achieve multiple evolutionary forms. The researchers sought to allow him to evolve and devolve at will.
Story
Malgam's Capture
Enjoying his life out in the wild, Malgam never thought he would've been cornered by humans. He was brought into their facility where he would be processed for one of their experiments. They called him Amalgam when the first tests were conducted. Using different stones, Malgam adopted a multitude of moves and abilities, and eventually evolved into every eeveelution except for the fairy-type variant, Sylveon. Soon after, he would devolve back to an Eevee. The experiment was a success.
Meeting Maia
Unbeknownst to Malgam, the humans were keeping a Mythical in their facility the whole time. They knew of Malgam's compatibility with her, which was incredibly rare. They tried to get Malgam and Maia to grow fond of one another and it worked out, for the most part. Maia eventually wanted to mate with Malgam, but the Eevee was mortified at the idea of becoming a father. He rejected her and Maia suffered from depression for days after. The two became separate.
There was an intermission before they would see each other again. One night, Malgam had a peculiar dream where he was rolled into a strange room with a frightful machine. The entire vision was hazy, but the dream was actually reality, and the humans used this machine to take Malgam's seed without his consent.
None the wiser, Malgam woke the next day to be met with Maia once more. Maia started to uncover her origins to Malgam, to which he was enthralled. Every day, however, Maia would get sicker, and their visits were shorter. Maia was in critical condition one day, and was being rolled down the hallway by the panicked humans. Malgam spent the next few weeks alone, reflecting on whether he did this to her.
Adrestia's Release
After weeks passed, the facility was under attack from an unknown assailant. The humans put Malgam into a box to protect him, then rolled him into another room, but then they started to scatter and evacuate the building. The heat and explosions destroyed the glass of his container, and Malgam managed to survive using the force powers his captors bestowed onto him.
Malgam was ready to escape the building until the culprit appeared behind him. Sensing that it was Maia, Malgam approached the creature, who was a Mewtwo Y. She spoke Malgam's name as if she remembered him, and the two teamed up to take over the facility. What Malgam didn't know was that the creature was Adrestia, Maia and his second child.
The two Pokemon made the decrepit facility their official base, and even recruited many wild Pokemon to serve them and grow stronger. Malgam himself grew fatter, feasting on the Pokepuff reserve in the building.
The Two Mewtwos
Adrestia would have multiple episodes of severe headaches in this time. Malgam stood by her as much as he could, hoping to make up for what he believed he put her through in the past. Adrestia confessed she heard agonized voices as she went through these episodes. One day, Adrestia was able to sense a psychic signature in the air, which lingered long enough for her to chase after it. Malgam meant to follow.
Traveling into a forest clearing, they encountered a human drone machine which carried a large pod. Dropping the pod in front of them, its doors opened to reveal a Mewtwo X, Damos. Damos and Adrestia fell under a violent spell, which possessed them and caused them to engage in a brutal fight. Before things got fatal, Malgam dove in as a Flareon and used Flamethrower on Damos, causing him to flee.
Malgam and Adrestia retreated and the Mewtwo Y was freed from the spell, revealing that she wasn't in control of her emotions and felt the urge to kill. Malgam banded together with some of his minions to confront Damos while he was weakened. They encountered him at a nearby lake after he warded off an unfortunate trainer who tried to catch him. The trainer left behind some goods, including a chocolate bar that Damos couldn't get out of its wrapper. Malgam offered to get it open if Damos explains what he was up to, but he revealed he was under the same spell as Adrestia and also experienced voices and headaches. There was a third connection linking the two Mewtwos.
Breaking the Links
Damos led Malgam to the facility in which he was kept and experimented on his whole life. Malgam was shocked to find out that this facility was not that far a distance from his base. The Eevee assembled a larger team of Pokemon to raid the facility and find the source of the psychic link. As his minions ran rampant in the facility, Malgam located a peculiar machine from which, as an Espeon, he could detect an unsettling aura. Using his psychic powers, Malgam crushed the machine and ended the link, or so he thought.
His minions were being captured by the humans with their strange Pokeballs that gave them a new, malicious form that would bend to their every will. Malgam narrowly dodged one himself and took it back with him as he retreated with his few remaining allies in the team.
Once they returned, he was relieved to see Damos and Adrestia together, not trying to kill one another, but the morale of the army was low thanks to all the Pokemon they lost. After a pep talk, a Carnivine fiddled with the Pokeball he brought back and wound up getting captured by it. Re-emerging in the new Linked form, Malgam was forced to encase him in ice as Glaceon, telling the others that the Pokemon could still be freed.
Damos studied the Pokeball, finding yet another psychic trail coming out of it. Malgam, Damos, and Adrestia would band together to follow the trail to yet another human facility, larger than anything they have seen thus far. They raided the facility to locate the third connection, fighting through multitudes of Linked Pokemon.
They eventually reached a large room with an imposing machine inside. Before they could reach it, they were confronted by a gigantic Linked Steelix. During the fight, Malgam was pinned by the Steelix's tail, which slammed down on his necklace, which was surprisingly tough enough to withstand the force. After being freed by Damos, Malgam assisted him with a Helping Hand, which greatly increased the power of Damos' already devastating punches, resulting in their eventual victory.
Malgam watched as Damos forced open a pod that sat in the center of the machine. What was inside the pod mortified the Eevee: it was Maia! He realized that this meant Adrestia was not her this entire time. Damos and Adrestia uttered that she was their mother, which confounded him further. He realized too late that he was, in fact, Damos and Adrestia's father, and that the humans had taken his seed to conceive them.
Before he could approach the two with his revelation, they had already blown a hole in the ceiling and left him behind.
Meeting Autumn
Malgam returned to his base to find most of the Pokémon in his army had left. There was only Bernard, Plume, the Lilligant, and Alcremie who were still with him. Together, they went out into the wilderness, leaving behind the shambles of the human base.
At one point, as the others ate, Malgam picked himself up from his slump and went to hunt for something to eat, wanting to establish himself as a strong and able leader. He came across a Dratini in a nearby lake, who spoke of a haven nearby. Malgam rejected the notion of going there and the Dratini swam away nonchalantly.
A large Braixen emerged from the forest, asking if the Eevee was the “great and powerful” Malgam she had been hearing about. He confirmed this and she then asked to join his crew, but Malgam ordered her to fetch him the Dratini in the lake before he would consider this. She does this rather easily with her psychic powers and Malgam doesn’t hesitate to slurp him up like a noodle.
The two Pokémon are then attacked by a Noivern. Due to the condition of Malgam’s necklace, he had a difficult time switching to the evolution he wanted: Glaceon. As Autumn held the Noivern in place with her psychic powers, Malgam eventually switched to the right form and froze the Noivern with an Ice Beam. The two dashed away back to Malgam’s cohorts.
Autumn is welcomed into the crew and seemed to be well-liked amongst all the members rather quickly. All the Pokémon went to sleep together when night fell. Next morning, they were accosted by a trio of Pokémon: a Goodra, Lopunny, and Mienshao. Another Pokémon, an aged Delphox, approached them as well, welcoming them to Sanctuary. He offered to sing to them as an apology for the stressful confrontation, but he actually uses the move Sing to put Malgam and his crew to sleep again.
New Faces in Sanctuary
Malgam and Autumn woke up in a cell which was guarded by a Grovyle. Malgam demanded to be let out and threatened him, but found that his necklace was taken away. With his power taken, he was only able to sit while the Lopunny from before, Fleur, approached rather angrily to list Malgam and Autumn’s tasks as repentance for the Dratini’s demise.
Fleur then ordered Autumn to come with her to meet with Iggy, the Delphox and leader of the haven. Malgam claimed that since Autumn was a member of his crew, he should come with them, reminding Fleur that he’s the one who ate the Dratini. The three of them traveled to Iggy’s temple, where the Delphox tried to get to know them better. Malgam spun a hyperbolic variation of what he had gone through with the humans, while Autumn remained quiet, saying she was nothing special.
Malgam went on to demand his necklace back and to give him some of Iggy’s Sanctuary members to command, but Iggy would only give it to him if he were to earn the Delphox’s trust.
And so, Malgam and his little army would toil in the Sanctuary for days on end, but the Eevee was shocked to find his lackeys actually enjoyed being in the haven and having jobs to do. He eventually sold the idea of him and his crew having “weekends” off to Iggy, lightening their load a bit after they had already done quite a few tasks in the haven consistently. Malgam took this opportunity to get more familiar with the haven, plotting to take it over one day.
Missing Team Member
One day, Malgam was approached by Plume, who told him with great distress that Bernard had gone missing. Malgam tried to find Iggy but was not able to for the remainder of that day. The following night, he rested in his cell with Autumn, ranting to her about all the issues he had with his situation and the haven. Autumn revealed that she was hearing voices and having visions, which were also the sources of her headaches.
The two could then hear Iggy and Fleur talking outside of their cell, specifically about howling that they heard at night, and how one of their teams went missing previously. Malgam piped up, saying that it could be his missing team member Bernard. He offered to hunt down the Lycanroc alongside Fleur and Autumn, and even suggested they bring Plume along. Of course, this was mostly so he could make a name for himself and be that much closer to taking over Sanctuary.
The Hunt for Bernard
The three-Mon team comes across a spot in the forest with deep slash marks and abandoned, torn bags with goods strewn across the area, and then further down encounters a red Lycanroc swallowing down Plume, a Quilava who was a member of Malgam's crew!
They engage with the threat and Fleur fights with the Lycanroc head on, doing well to keep him at bay for a while. Fleur successfully ejects Plume from his belly by kicking it. With help from Malgam distracting him, she lands a crushing blow on the Lycanroc and causes him to flee. Before going after him, she encourages Malgam to stay with Autumn, who is suffering through another headache.
Malgam stays for a while but is let go by Autumn to help Fleur. Soon enough, Autumn recovers and finds a safe spot for Plume while she goes to join them once again. Autumn shoves a burning stick into Malgam's mouth horizontally while he protests, and the Eevee decides to go after Fleur. He catches up to see her doing combat with a Lucario! Malgam careens in towards the Lucario with his burning branch, which gives Fleur the upper hand once again. Fleur herself acquires a flaming stick, and their combined efforts scare away the Lucario.
As they catch their breath, Autumn appears in the distance, continuing to suffer from a terrible headache. She admits to them that she senses a familiar presence, and its psychic signature causes the headaches to worsen while she hears voices and recalls memories she has never had. When she is stable again, they return to Plume, who is now lucid despite her injuries. Fleur assures her that Bernard is overcome.
Together, they return to Sanctuary and find Iggy meditating. They report to him what happened and that they could not find the missing denizens. They also reveal their encounter with the Lucario, who was hunting for the sagely Delphox. Iggy appears reserved about this, saying they can discuss it later, but Malgam speaks up, getting heated since they all risked their lives getting Bernard back. Iggy retorts, highlighting Malgam's failures which could have prevented the further loss of lives. This causes Malgam to fume quietly and Autumn speaks out against Iggy for being too harsh. Fleur asks them to go get some rest and they do so.
Into the Witch's Abode
Malgam leaves the Sanctuary in the dead of night, bitter and angry. He senses that Autumn has also left, seeking something. He follows her trail until the next day, finally locating her in a distant, mountainous region. Taking cover under a natural stone awning, he finds the mouth of a cave which teems with a malicious energy and a dark smog. He makes his way in to find Autumn holding onto the edge of a deep hole, a female Delphox threateningly pointing her wand at her.
Autumn loses her grip, but the Delphox catches her with levitation magic, lifting her back to safety. They embrace and Malgam watches, shocked at the scene. He approaches and the Delphox notices him, shoving him into a cauldron of bubbling green stew. Autumn asks her to let him go, saying that he is a friend. Malgam is released from the cauldron and realizes that this is in fact the Witchfox that the Sanctuary residents talked about, and that Autumn is her daughter. The witch, Ingrid, would lead Malgam and Autumn deeper into the cave for some food and refreshments.
While Autumn indulges Ingrid in her past life being a human's Pokemon, the Braixen segues into meeting Malgam and the Eevee cannot help but puff his chest out, explaining how he conquered his captors and then came across Sanctuary. This sets off Ingrid, causing her to believe the two were spies for the Sanctuary. She attacks them and Malgam manages to steal her wand. Autumn tries to appeal to Ingrid by revealing her knowledge of what happened to the Delphox's trainer, and how Iggy was at fault. The two explain how they were forced to work for him in Sanctuary.
Ingrid showers them with self-pity, a purple light glowing at the end of her wand as she tells them about how Iggy has tortured her for years. Malgam feels hypnotized by the Delphox's light...
Personality
Malgam is immensely egotistical, putting himself on a pedestal and seeing himself as greater than most everybody else. The only exception to this is his friends, who he would consider on an equal level. He does not accept that anyone is above him, even when he loses a battle. It is his upbringing and treatment from the fanatical humans that enabled this attitude even more, especially with how powerful he is. The Eevee, however, does have a tender side. Though he is quite demanding and brash, the revelation of the Mewtwo twins being his children linger in the back of his mind. He also watches out for members of his crew, trying to maintain trust and respect among the few that remain.
Forte/Skills
Malgam developed a plethora of unusual skills that an eevee would normally never dream of having. He acquired telekinesis and the ability to hover in mid-air.
After he was given the necklace device which held seven gems (one for each eeveelution except sylveon), Malgam was able to evolve temporarily into an eeveelution. The device was not in a condition to keep him in the evolved form for long, usually overheating after thirty minutes and forcibly reverting Malgam back to his eevee form. Alongside the eeveelutions, Malgam carried moves for each type. His special and physical attack power was massive at the time.

Trivia
- Malgam's name is a play on the word amalgamation, which means "the action, process, or result of combining or uniting." This is a reference to the fact he is a combination of all eeveelutions.
- Fidchell's discord server is called Malgam's Fantastical Fungeon. On the server Malgam serves as a bot that rewards users with pokepuffs to feed him and a fictional currency called Malgold.
