Adrestia is the second child of Maia, a development almost completely unforeseen by her captors. Not long after her birth, her human keepers noticed her rapid growth and accelerated aging, defects of her abnormal propagation. She was forcibly given gene-altering chemicals to push her body towards a form that greatly enhanced the capabilities of her brain, which led to the ability to release devastating psychic abilities.
Story
Rage in Birth
When Maia was artificially inseminated, her womb was successfully fertilized thanks to Malgam's compatibility. Adrestia was the second child to form. When she was born, she was given chemicals to alter her state. This resulted in a catastrophic event where she unleashed her psychic powers and almost completely decimated the human facility where she was kept.
Her emotional outburst was a result of the pain of her mother, which sent her brother, Damos, into a frenzy, and in turn, caused Adrestia to undergo the same episode. A mind link was created between the Psychic family where everyone shared fragmented memories of Maia. Because her binds were not well fortified like her brother's, she successfully drove all the humans and their Pokemon out of the facility.
In the wake of her destruction, Adrestia thought that she was Maia, and eventually encountered Malgam, who she remembered thanks to her Mother. The two, instead of leaving, took over the facility and recruited an army of wild Pokemon to create their own base. Adrestia had no qualms with Malgam's goals and stood by his side through all his endeavors, not knowing he was her father.
Reuniting with Her Brother
Adrestia would suffer through frequent headaches, sensing something was calling her. One day, she sensed a psychic signature lingering in the air that she followed out into a clearing, Malgam following her. They then saw a flying human machine that carried a large pod. It dropped the pod, which opened to reveal Damos. Adrestia could not control her emotions and became incredibly angry, bloodthirsty even, and attacked Damos.
Malgam luckily stepped in and warded off Damos. With the two Mewtwos injured and separated, Adrestia returned to her right mind and stayed put for healing while Malgam went out to confront Damos.
Breaking the Link
The female Mewtwo remained with the other Pokemon as Malgam raided a facility. He instructed her to meet with Damos again after he gave the signal. Hours would pass before he indeed sent out the signal, and the two Mewtwos approached one another hesitantly. The anger did not return and they clasped hands, feeling the comfort of familial warmth.
Suddenly, a pang of discomfort arose in the two, followed by a sharp pain and the agonizing cries of a third creature that was connected to them. It was the same one that had always lingered in their minds. They retreated to Malgam's base and waited for the Eevee's return.
Finding the Origin
Malgam returned, but with fewer Pokemon than he raided the facility with. He brought back a strange Pokeball, one that the humans used to turn Pokemon into Linked Pokemon for unconditional and complete control. A Carnivine within the group touched the ball, which caused him to be captured. He re-emerged Linked and Malgam quickly froze him in his Glaceon form.
Damos detected a familiar signal emanating from the Pokeball and tracked it down to another, larger human facility further in the mountains, with Malgam and Adrestia in tow. Together, they raided the facility and followed the signal into a large room with an imposing machine.
A Linked Steelix stood in their way, and after a hard-fought battle, the trio approached the machine. Adrestia watched as Damos smashed open the pod from which the psychic trail leaked out of. Maia was in the pod, drained greatly of her power. Damos cradled the dying Mew and Adrestia connected with her mind, revealing that she was, in fact, her mother. They both weeped for her. Damos then held her tiara, which unleashed a cascade of memories and information about the Realm of Legends, where Xerneas may be able to restore her to life.
Adrestia and he escaped the facility immediately with Maia in tow, blasting holes through the levels of concrete above.
Personality
Adrestia is an amiable and timid girl who finds herself fascinated by the world around her. She is curious about many things and uses her psychic powers to learn about others around her. She doesn't enjoy hurting others and tends to submit to others' will to avoid conflict. Despite this, she is still more than able to defend herself.
The female Mewtwo is quite emotional and sensitive, which leads to her dislike of confrontations. She would use her psychic powers to quickly escape if she senses conflict arising.
She has a huge soft spot for confident creatures such as Malgam.
Forte/Skills
The Mewtwo's genes were altered to make her a special powerhouse. The tendril on the back of her head carries an organ that attaches to her brain and greatly amplifies her special attacks. Adrestia's body is rather weak on the defensive and physical side, so she makes use of maneuvers such as teleportation to avoid enemy attacks. Her primary attacks consist of balls of concentrated psychic energy and directly attacking the enemy's brain with her own mind.
