Fleur was a proud mother of four Bunearies, but unfortunately because of a tragic event, only two remain. After this occurrence, the Lopunny mother became stronger in resilience and boldness, dedicating her every waking moment to protecting the last of her children.

She came to Iggy's Sanctuary in a desperate time. The kindly delphox took her in, making her his disciple eventually. Fleur grew immensely after becoming his student, expanding her knowledge and her power.

Story

Single Mother of Four

Fleur and her four children tread across a snowy landscape in search of shelter. The conditions of her mate were unknown even to her, but the lopunny was able to provide for her children all this time. As they continued their search, they encountered a giant seviper that was notorious across the lands. Fleur managed to fend it off with her fierce kicks.

After doing away with the snake pokemon, a group of zangoose emerged from hiding in nearby vegetation. Alert at first, the lopunny and her children were quickly put at ease when they expressed their admiration for Fleur's combat prowess. They offered her and her children shelter in an abandoned human cabin.

Zangoose Hospitality

Before they could reach the cabin, Fleur collapsed from exhaustion. She woke up inside the human structure next to the leader of the zangoose group. Fleur was eventually led to her children, all of whom were huddled up safe and sound within another bedroom. The next morning, Fleur, her children, and the zangoose shared a good time, telling stories and getting Fleur acquainted with the strange human objects she had never seen before.

Soon enough, however, the zangoose would reveal to the lopunny mother their situation in which they have been tailed by the same seviper she was attacked by for months. They hope Fleur can aid them in taking out the snake for good, and in return she can stay with them for as long as she wished. Fleur accepted.

The Tragedy

Fleur acted as bait for the snake so that two of the zangoose could land a surprise strike. As the seviper approached, however, two of the Fleur's children made themselves known and ran to help their mother, ruining the element of surprise. The two zangoose winged it and pounced to strike, but the seviper saw them coming. The zangoose wound up crashing into each other, becoming stunned. The snake pokemon wrapped Fleur and her two children in its clutches and sped off to a cave.

In this cave, the seviper would proceed to slowly eat her two children whole in front of the lopunny mother as she tried her hardest in her rage to free herself from its coils. Once the two bunearies were eaten, the snake reared forward to swallow her next, but one of the zangoose came just in time to stop it. Freed from its clutches, Fleur brutally killed the snake. The desperate lopunny then dove into the snake's throat to pull her children out, the zangoose grabbing on to her legs. Pulling her back out, it was revealed her two children had suffocated.

Stumbling upon Sanctuary

Following the tragedy, Fleur took her two remaining children and left without another word to the group of zangoose, despite their heavy condolences. Years later, the lopunny would come across the haven owned by Sagefox. He would take her in, introducing her to the Sanctuary and its residents. Feeling an aura of peace and calm, Fleur would settle here, becoming Sage's student to confront her darkness and her horrible tragedy.

More years passed as Fleur became more settled, calling the haven her new home. Her children grew well, getting along with the other children of the Sanctuary. Even though the lopunny felt at peace, the darkness still clung onto her deep inside.

Malgam's Arrival

Upon hearing that the Dratini dwelling with them was eaten, Fleur held a bitter resentment towards Malgam and his crew. With them successfully put to sleep by Iggy's song, she makes it her mission to make sure they atone for what they let happen, and especially Malgam himself for doing the deed. After some time, Fleur starts to warm up to Autumn, but still dislikes Malgam for his sleazy, complacent attitude.

Killing Moon

Fleur approaches Iggy one night, reporting that one of their foraging teams is too afraid to go out because of how another team had gone missing not long after a howling had been occurring recently. She is asked to go with Malgam and Autumn to locate the source of the howling and the circumstances behind the forager team's disappearance. The three-Mon team comes across a spot in the forest with deep slash marks and abandoned, torn bags with goods strewn across the area, and then further down encounters a red Lycanroc swallowing down Plume, a Quilava who was a member of Malgam's crew!

They engage with the threat and Fleur fights with the Lycanroc head on, doing well to keep him at bay for a while. Fleur successfully ejects Plume from his belly by kicking it. With help from Malgam distracting him, she lands a crushing blow on the Lycanroc and causes him to flee. Before going after him, she encourages Malgam to stay with Autumn, who is suffering through another headache.

She chases down Bernard only to encounter a Lucario who has reached him before her, having knocked him out completely. The Lucario demands the location of Iggy from Fleur, but the Lopunny does not yield, causing them to engage in battle. Fleur cannot keep up with the skilled Lucario, but before she suffers defeat, Malgam comes in with a branch lit on fire, which gives Fleur the upper hand once again. Fleur herself acquires a flaming stick, and their combined efforts scare away the Lucario.

As they catch their breath, Autumn appears in the distance, continuing to suffer from a terrible headache. She admits to them that she senses a familiar presence, and its psychic signature causes the headaches to worsen while she hears voices and recalls memories she has never had. When she is stable again, they return to Plume, who is now lucid despite her injuries. Fleur assures her that Bernard is overcome. Together, they return to Sanctuary and find Iggy meditating. They report to him what happened and that they could not find the missing denizens. They also reveal their encounter with the Lucario, who was hunting for the sagely Delphox. Iggy appears reserved about this, saying they can discuss it later, but Malgam speaks up, getting heated since they all risked their lives getting Bernard back. Iggy retorts, highlighting Malgam's failures which could have prevented the further loss of lives.

Fleur chastises Iggy for his harshness and they agree to speak further in Iggy's temple while Autumn and the others go off to rest. There, they speak of the Lucario, who Iggy labels as an assassin sent by the Witch. He unveils his past with Ingrid, saying that a terrible action he committed has created the feud between them, and Iggy has been running the Sanctuary as penance for his sins. Fleur suggests they take the fight to the Witch, but Iggy shoots this idea down with an explosion of anger, even pointing his wand at Fleur. He makes it clear that he does not want anyone else to fall victim to her.

Hildegard's Intrusion

When Iggy is confronted by Hildegard, he invites the Lucario to fight her in the arena, which has been untouched for years. Fleur helps to clear the arena and watches the 'battle' unfold between the two skilled Pokemon.

The Delphox manages to hypnotize the Lucario before she can strike. He gently seats her head on his lap as he begins to peer into her memories, the session conjuring a dark cloudy entity. Iggy swallows this cloud once he gets enough insight into Hildegard's past, learning that she was a proud and famous fighter who loved her trainer more than anything, willing to kill and absorb Aura to bring him back.

Hildegard wakes up as Iggy gulps down the nightmare, and explodes in a rage, pinning him and bashing him in the chest. This releases the smog, causing Hildegard to see into Iggy's own memories. She sees how he obsessed over Ingrid when they were both Braixens, and how Iggy murdered her trainer when he saw how poorly they treated her, forcing her to breed because of her Shiny coat. Hildegard sees how they fought a ferocious battle upon Ingrid learning of what Iggy did, and well as his early days founding Sanctuary and how Ingrid would continuously torture him by taking the lives of his followers. She senses his aura and how Iggy is forever filled with regret, unable to achieve penance for his actions.

Hildegard, filled with distress, wakes to see Fleur preparing to stomp her after tackling her off of Iggy. The Delphox stops her and Hildegard releases a large portion of her Aura, bellowing into the sky as the vortex of blue energy dissipates into the sky. She renounces her help to Ingrid after Iggy admits his past sins to his followers around the arena. Iggy asks Fleur to retreive a cobalt necklace, which he gives to Hildegard. He also breaks his stick in two, asking the Lucario to give both the items to Ingrid to prove she 'killed' him.

Personality

Fleur is a pleasant Lopunny who is trying to be the best example she can be for the denizens of the Sanctuary. She is very determined when she has a mission and looks to do whatever she can for the good of those under her. Back then, the Lopunny was very wary and untrusting, but she has changed for the better, putting forth trust in the good will of all Pokémon.

Sometimes Fleur can jump to conclusions too hastily, which can make relations with certain characters worse. The Lopunny is actively trying to avoid this, getting as much information as she can before making judgment. She is very kind but can be firm if need be.

Fleur is not fond of any Pokémon that bases their interests mostly around sexual desires, as she is quite prudent. She believes everyone should be respected to some degree and should not be looked at solely for their figures.

Unsurprisingly, Fleur is very motherly and protective of children. She puts off quite a bit of time to care not only for her own, but other children in the Sanctuary as well, making sure they stay out of trouble, get well fed, and get a good education.

Forte/Skills

While Fleur’s punches aren’t very threatening, her legs are a force to be reckoned with. With amazing kicking power, the lopunny can take down a disadvantageous type in seconds. Even with just a single high jump kick, she can instantly knock someone out. Her powerful legs muscles also enable her to make great leaps. If she put enough power behind a jump, she can easily bound over a tree!
